People always tell me that for them, one of the hardest parts of getting organized is just starting the process. Getting themselves to do it. I hear you, folks. Although for me it's not about organizing. I do that for fun on the daily. This time, it was about blogging. Writing a blog is not part of my day-to-day life and since I work "on the field," I have found it hard to get it going in the last few months. So I took matters into my own hands. I had to figure out a way to make myself blog. This is a great method for getting something done. One of those things that you're having a bit of an extra hard time doing.
Step one: Add it to my to-do list. OBVIOUS!
Step two: Write myself a strict (but friendly) post-it note.
Step Three: Stick that note on my
forehead night table.
Step Four: Take a picture of the note and make it the background of my phone. That way, I'll be reminded every time I touch my phone. Every. Time. I touch. My phone. Which is often.
Step Five: BLOG!!!!!
So here I am. I'm back. Tidy is back. We're all back. Let's get organized! (Or talk about it)
